Heavy showers at Cork

The ground has changed slightly for this afternoon's McCarthy Insurance-sponsored meeting at Cork following some heavy showers.

The going is now heavy (soft to heavy in places), and the seven race card gets underway at 12.35pm. Final Approach successful in the Vincent O'Brien County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival last March having also taken the valuable MCR Hurdle at Leopardstown, looks to have a straight forward task against five rivals in the two mile conditions hurdle at 1.10.
