Hedgehunter Sound After Limerick Return Hedgehunter seems none the worse for his outing over hurdles at Limerick on Sunday and will shortly resume his preparation for the John Smith's Grand National. The 2005 Aintree hero was making just his second appearance of the season after sustaining a knee injury earlier this term. After finishing ninth in the UL Bohemians Raceday Hurdle over an inadequate two miles, he was reported to have a slight nasal discharge following examination by the Turf Club veterinary officer. And while Mullins will closely monitor his progress over the next few days, he says all seems well for the time being.'He trotted up sound this morning, ate up when he got home last night, and he seems fine,' said the County Carlow trainer.'We were happy enough with the way he ran, it was the only race for him that week. He'll be back out working again tomorrow.'(C) PA Sport
