Heffernan to ride So You Think Seamus Heffernan will ride So You Think in Saturday's Coral-Eclipse Stakes at Sandown Park. Heffernan partnered the Australian superstar on his first outing in Europe, a bloodless victory in the Group Three Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh in early May. But the colt was subsequently ridden by Ryan Moore in his last two races, the second a shock defeat by Rewilding in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot earlier this month. Now, with Moore riding Derby and Arc hero Workforce for his boss Sir Michael Stoute in Saturday's mouthwatering showdown, Heffernan renews his partnership with So You Think. Trainer Aidan O'Brien's wife Anne-Marie confirmed via Twitter on Thursday morning "So You Think will be declared this morning for the Eclipse on Saturday and Seamus Heffernan will be declared to ride him." O'Brien blamed himself for So You Think's Royal Ascot defeat, putting the reverse at 4/11 down to "trainer error". He said: He said: "I will take responsibility for this personally. After he won his first two races so easily I had gone easy on him. "It was a big step up on his last two races. He ran keen for the first two furlongs with Ryan and it was a strong-run race. He went and won his race but just got very tired in the last half a furlong." Workforce of course will provide the major opposition to So You Think on Saturday. He made a pleasing reappearance giving weight away in the Brigadier Gerard Stakes, also at Sandown.
