Henderson pair for Punchestown

Nicky Henderson's Punjabi and Punchestowns could both travel over to Ireland for the National Hunt Festival at the end of April.

Champion Hurdle winner Punjabi was a winner at Punchestown last year, and he could bid to retain his Rabobank Champion Hurdle title at the track on Friday May 1.

Punchestowns could appear at the racecourse he is named after for the first time in the Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle on Thursday April 30.

Henderson told At The Races, 'There is every possibility that Punjabi will have a spin on the Flat again this season but he'll definitely go to Punchestown first.'

'Punchestowns will go to Punchestown as long as the ground doesn't dry out too much.'
