Hennessy entries revealed Entries for the four Grade One contests on Hennessy Gold Cup day at Leopardstown were revealed today. The Noel Meade-trained Pandorama, impressive winner of the Lexus Chase, heads a list of 18 entries for the Grade 1 Hennessy Gold Cup, the highlight on February 6th. The Lexus second and third, Money Trix and Joncol, could take on Pandorama again while the Willie Mullins-trained Cooldine is joined in the list of entries by two stable companions Barker and Kempes. One of the most interesting entries from across the water is the Paul Nicholls-trained Pride Of Dulcote, conqueror of Punchestowns in the Mandarin Chase at Newbury last month on his seasonal debut, and the subject of considerable support for the Cheltenham Gold Cup this morning. Several top class novice hurdlers look set to lock horns in the Grade 1 Deloitte Novice Hurdle.  The Willie Mullins-trained Zaidpour, narrowly beaten at odds-on in the Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hurdle at the Christmas Festival, could be joined in the line up by Jessica Harrington’s Grade 1 Navan Hurdle winner Oscar’s Well. Impressive maiden hurdle winners at the Christmas Festival, Hidden Universe and Shot From The Hip, are among the entries while Jonjo O’Neill has entered Backspin, the ex-Mag Mullins-trained gelding who won the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle at Newbury last month. The supporting card on Hennessy day is headlined by the Grade 1 Dr PJ Moriarty Chase, with an entry list that includes Mikael D’Haguenet, Quel Esprit, Magnanimity, Bostons Angel and Quito De La Roque. The Spring Juvenile Hurdle has attracted some of the top juvenile hurdlers in the country including the Bord na Mona Fire Magic Juvenile Hurdle winner and runner up Sailors Warn and Fearless Falcon.
