Highway takes last at 40/1 Highway Sixty One sprang a 40/1 shock in the concluding mile-and-a-half handicap at Dundalk this evening. Mel Sheridan had to wait for a run passing the two pole, on Leslie Young’s charge, and delivered him to dispute over a furlong from home. He got the better of Deluca Chop inside the final furlong to post a hard fought half-length success. It was a first career success for the four-year-old, who been placed twice previously. oung said: "He was fourth here back in May. I think he has had three runs on the surface. "He was after dropping down off 40 and claiming 7lb. "He (Sheridan) is improving. "That's my first winner in Dundalk. "He probably will get a stint up here after tonight.
