Hometown back later in the spring Enda Bolger is waiting on better ground before bringing his unbeaten youngster My Hometown back to the racecourse. A runaway winner of a Dromahane point-to-point in early December, the JP McManus-owned seven-year-old made a successful start to his career under Rules in a maiden hurdle at Limerick over Christmas. Although conditions were ultra-testing last month, Bolger is sure his charge will be even more effective once he gets on a sounder surface in the spring. He said: "He is on a break at the moment, he is waiting for better ground. He should be back out later on in the spring time. "His point-to-point and his maiden hurdle were kind of close together so we are waiting for drier ground."
