Hooray tempted towards Guineas A tilt at next year's 1000 Guineas is under "serious consideration" for Sir Mark Prescott's Cheveley Park Stakes scorer Hooray - despite doubts about her stamina. The Cheveley Park Stud-owned filly has enjoyed a fantastic second half of the season, springing a surprise in the Lowther Stakes at York before going on to confirm that was no fluke with two subsequent wins. She made every yard of the running last Friday in the Group One over six furlongs and while there is a question mark over her ability to stay a mile, Cheveley Park managing director Chris Richardson feels it could be worth a go with a potential career as a broodmare in mind. "When she ran in the St Hugh's Stakes at Newbury a couple of months ago she appeared not to go in the softer ground, so we were concerned about that," said Richardson. "But she just quickened away and stayed every yard, so she's once again proved everybody wrong in the best possible way. That's her finished for the year and we look forward to next season. "Sir Mark is the trainer but obviously from a stud point of view, we will have to give serious consideration to the Guineas."
