Hughes happy with Schindlers Hunt

Dessie Hughes is happy with Schindlers Hunt ahead of the nine-year-old's challenge for what looks a very competitive Amlin 1965 Chase at Ascot.

Schindlers Hunt has a 4lb pull for a head beating by Voy Por Ustedes in the Melling Chase at Aintree in April and has had the benefit of a spin over hurdles last month, when he was second to Oscar Dan Dan at Thurles.

"He's travelled over fine and has had some light exercise. He seems to be enjoying himself," said Hughes.

"Our horse has had a run, so that will help him. We'd be hopeful. It's not going to be easy, but he showed some class in his races in the spring."
