Hurricane Run set for Curragh return Last year´s Budweiser Irish Derby and Prix de l'Arc De Triomphe hero Hurricane Run is set to make his seasonal debut in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at The Curragh on Sunday 28th May. The Andre Fabre trained performer who was the highest rated horse in the world last year, is in great form having worked this morning, according to a spokesperson for owner Michael Tabor and connections of the horse are expected to supplement the son of Montjeu for the Group 1 contest next Tuesday at a cost of 25,000 euro. Aidan O'Brien has indicated that he is likely to be represented by three runners in the Boylesports Irish 2000 Guineas with French 2000 Guineas runner up Marcus Andronicus and Hurricane Cat likely to join George Washington in the line up for the 400,000-euro contest. O'Brien also expects to be well represented in the Boylesports Irish 1000 Guineas, 'I hope to run either Rumpelstiltskin or Queen Cleopatra in the 1000 Guineas, and possibly both' said the Ballydoyle handler. Trainer Richard Hannon is also considering the Group 1 Classic for English 1000 Guineas third Nasheej.
