In For The Night wins on second start for O'Dwyer Having just his second start for trainer Conor O'Dwyer, In For The Night readily landed the Tote Handicap Hurdle over two miles, three furlongs at Kilbeggan. Sent off 17/2 under Charlie O'Dwyer, the eight-year-old travelled nicely in mid-division during the first half of the race. Moving strongly in third three out, the J.P. McManus-owned gelding went second approaching the penultimate flight. Heading leader Magic Day on the run to the last, In For The Night went clear to record a five-and-a-half length success. Conor O'Dwyer said: "I haven't got him all that long. We ran him for the first time since Dessie (McDonogh) retired in Clonmel, and he ran well. "I was a little worried about the ground tonight, I thought it might be a little quick, but all the lads said it was good and safe with a nice bit of juice in it. "He handled it well. He got a great run around and jumped super. He's sweeter than he was a while ago. He's really travelling there nicely and doing everything well. Nice one to look forward to."
