Indiana for Dundalk

Pat Martin is hoping Indiana Gal can gain a deserved victory in Listed or Group company later this season after a string of fine efforts in defeat.

After winning a small event at Dundalk back in March, the three-year-old has been placed behind Chinese White in Listed company, as well as taking third in a Group Three event at Leopardstown.

Martin is currently giving his charge a short break and hopes she will pick up some decent contests back on the all-weather towards the end of the year.

"She has been placed behind some very smart fillies in some good races this year and we have decided to give her some time off," said Martin.

"She is in a Group Three next month but she won't be back in work until next week so she won't run in that now and we are looking at winning a Listed race or two at Dundalk later in the year."
