Course-specialist Indigo Five (3/1) registered a third career and Curragh success today, as the Johnny Feane-trained mare landed the Tote Guarantee Available On Course Handicap, under jockey Wesley Joyce.

Previously successful at today’s course in both 2023 and ‘24, the daughter of Fast Company today raced with the pace and scored by 1.5 lengths from Akecheta

Regarding the Ray McSharry-owned winner trainer Feane said “she won well, is a tough mare and it’s nice to win another handicap up the Curragh with her.

“She is probably Listed class but we might take in another handicap before that.

“She has won on good ground to heavy ground so is very versatile and might get a mile and a quarter as she’s getting a bit stronger. She hit the line well.”
