Initial Blue a dream result for US owner Staton Flurry at Laytown American owner Staton Flurry was on hand to see his recent purchase Initial Blue win the Bet With Tote On Racing Amateur Riders Handicap at odds of 14/1 at Laytown this evening. On his first start for trainer Jack Davison, the four-year-old added to four wins on the all-weather in Britain when holding the challenge of the Edward Lynam-trained Collective Power by a head, a first Laytown winner for both Davison and rider Harry Swan. Jack Davison said: "I couldn't walk by the bookies and leave them 'unpestered', he was an incredible price! "It is great when a plan comes off, it was 100 per cent a plan. I went to Newmarket two months ago to buy Staton a horse to get to Laytown. He has come all the way from Arkansas and is a great supporter of the yard, I’m just thrilled for him.
