Henry de Bromhead's Innovated put in a strong staying performance to land the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Steeplechase at Down Royal.

The 16/1 shot led but had to swerve around the second-last fence which was damaged during the race.

He was ridden on the run-in by Conor Brassil and kept on well to come in by three lengths from easy-to-back Salmanino (13/2). Jack In The Box (9/2) was another half a length back in third.

This gave de Bromhead an across-the-card double as Foxy Girl obliged in Limerick.
