Irish duo in Scottish National The Dessie Hughes-trained Montero is one of just two Irish-trained runners in the field for the Coral Scottish Grand National on Saturday. He will be joined by Cleni Boy, trained by JD Moore and ridden by Niall Madden. "He won three times in the autumn when the ground was good, then we put him away for the winter," said Hughes of Montero. "He's only a novice but goes on good ground and he stays well, so he takes his chance and he's a good leaper."
