Gordon Elliott, Keith Watson and Cian Collins will all send runners to Ayr this afternoon, with the lack of National Hunt action in Ireland this week prompting trainers to seek opportunities across the Irish Sea.

Irish Trainers Target Ayr Opportunities

Gordon Elliott, Keith Watson and Cian Collins will all be represented at Ayr this afternoon, with the lack of National Hunt action in Ireland this week forcing trainers to go elsewhere.

Elliott and Watson saddle Stretchemout and Broomfield Present in the Coral 'We're Here For It' Handicap Chase, while they are represented by Cher Tara and I'm For Home in the Coral Racing Club Handicap Hurdle.

Jordan Gainford will partner the Elliott pair, with Eoin Staples set to guide the Cian Collins-trained Prophetess Miriam in the concluding Coral Racing Club NH Flat Race.

Prophetess Miriam Seeks Breakthrough

Falling when still in with every chance on her sole point-to-point start at Tattersalls in May, the Workforce five-year-old was since bought by current connections for 47,000 pounds.

Second of 16 on her track debut at Listowel, she again filled the runner-up spot when last seen at Punchestown and now in against mostly debutants, she'll be well-fancied to make the breakthrough today.
