Irish out of luck at Ludlow There were two Irish-trained runners at Ludlow this afternoon but both horses made little impact and failed to finish. The Patrick Griffin-trained Ford Of Wells was a 50/1 outsider in the 2m4f handicap chase, and made a number of mistakes before eventually unseating JP O'Farrell. Katie Walsh was aboard the 'Shark' Hanlon-trained Takeyourpoint (11/1) in the 2m lady riders handicap hurdle. However the five-year-old gelding lost touch after halfway and was pulled up before the second last.
