Italy to be suspended from EBF Italian Racing will no longer be a part of the European Breeders Fund from January 1st 2010. It is a fundamental requirement within the EBF countries that at least 70 per cent of two-year-old maiden races must be confined to EBF eligible horses. The Italian racing authorities have failed to give a guarantee that EBF rules and regulations will be strictly applied. The suspension will be reviewed in December 2010.
