JIM SET FOR DUBAI Jim And Tonic looks set be switched to the Emirates Dubai World Cup at Nad Al Sheba in March instead of attempting to win the Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Sha Tin for a second time the following month. The six-year-old, three times a winner in Hong Kong and second to Fly To The Stars in last year's Lockinge Stakes at Newbury, is currently wintering in Cagnes-sur-Mer before returning to trainer Francois Doumen's stable at Chantilly. Owner John Martin, speaking from Dubai, said: "I am a gambler and my instincts tell me that Jim and Tonic is still improving and has a chance of winning this unique race. "I have been assured that my horse will be offered a place in the field and I'm getting very excited about bringing Jim And Tonic over." Martin's colours are also carried by the likes of Prix Marcel Boussac winner Lady Of Chad and the Martell Grand National entry Djeddah.
