Jenkins a really exciting jumping prospect Jenkins will go hurdling next season after he was narrowly denied in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper at the Punchestown Festival. Trainer Nicky Henderson felt the four-year-old, who was sent off the 8-11 favourite, really ought to have won the valuable prize. But he was worn down late on by Coeur De Lion, with only half a length separating the major players. Henderson told his Stan James blog: "The horse that got away was Jenkins over in Ireland and he should've won really but was in front a long way out. "That's racing and it was only a bumper, albeit a 100 grand bumper. "He'll go straight over hurdles next season and will school later this week. I'm really looking forward to him next season as he's a very top prospect."
