Jered in good form ahead of Drinmore test An informative renewal of the Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase in on the cards at Fairyhouse on Sunday. Usually won by one of the country's leading novices, Trafford Lad took the spoils 12 months ago. Edward O'Grady's Pesoto, mightily impressive when winning on his chasing reappearance, has headed the market all week. Noel Meade has a very strong hand with Grade One-winning hurdlers Pandorama and Jered but he has taken out Oscar Looby. Jered won the second of his two races over fences and is reported to be in good form. "He came on well for his first run to win nicely at Punchestown the last day," said Frank Berry, racing manager to owner JP McManus. "He has to step up again but Noel (Meade) is very happy with him and let's hope he runs a big race." Paul Nolan's highly-regarded Alpha Ridge will have the assistance of Ruby Walsh while Mouse Morris runs his promising China Rock. Philip Fenton faces a big half an hour with Caim Hill running just 30 minutes after stable star Dunguib. Oliver McKiernan's Whatuthink, a smart hurdler, will look to build on his promising victory at Thurles while Tom Cooper unleashes River Liane. Adrian Maguire's Mr Warbucks and Jessie Harrington's Roberto Goldback complete the classy 10-strong field.
