Jimmy likely to go Pertemps route Brian Hamilton believes Jimmy Two Times could be a horse to bear in mind for the Pertemps Hurdle Series this winter. The six-year-old showed he was not out of place in competitive contests when he was fifth in a valuable handicap hurdle to Sort It Out at the Punchestown Festival, staying on well at the end of the two-and-a-half-mile trip. "I'm thinking of training him with the Pertemps in mind," said the County Down trainer. "He definitely will improve for another year and has the makings of a decent horse." Hamilton expects Bertie Bell to open his account after he was only beaten a short head in a bumper at Ballinrobe by Aidan O'Brien newcomer Captain Barbossa. "He'll probably run in a month's time. We'll try and win a bumper with him, he's well up to winning a bumper," he said. "He handles good ground, he won his point-to-point on good ground. He jumps very well. He was to have been sold and is for sale." Twilight Shadow also showed promise on her debut at Ballinrobe when she was sixth to Red Pearl after being backed into 3-1 favourite from 13-2. "None of my money was on her," said Hamilton. "She's not a bad filly. Aidan O'Brien's horse (Rosshaven Lady) was a place in front of her and came out and won. "She's only a four-year-old and is still weak. She'll improve and win a mares' bumper."
