Jockeys Andrew Leigh and Andrew Lynch were in the news at Leopardstown, with the first named received a suspension and Lynch being stood down through injury.

Leigh was suspended for four days for careless riding in the Ballsbridge Hurdle, on his mount Oilily . The stewards deemed Leigh guilty of the offence following an incident early in the straight when Oilily hampered Won In The Dark .

Andrew Lynch, meanwhile, was stood down for the remainder of the day with a sore arm, suffered in a fall at Navan yesterday.
