Johnson Misses National Ride

Richard Johnson will miss the ride on favourite One Knight in the Coral Welsh National at Chepstow this afternoon.

Johnson suffered a crashing fall at Sandown on Monday and he has not recovered in time to take part in the Grade Three feature.

His agent Dave Roberts said: 'He won´t be riding today but he hopes to be back on Thursday.

'He´s just very sore and wants to give it a day or two.'

Paddy Brennan will now take over on One Knight for trainer Philip Hobbs.
