Jumba has Cork date Jessica Harrington's smart Flat performer Jumbajukiba looks set to start his National Hunt career at Cork on Tuesday. The six-year-old has won seven times on the level at distances ranging from six furlongs to a mile, including four times in Group Three company. He will be going into unknown territory when he tackles two miles over obstacles but Harrington has been thrilled by recent schooling sessions. "We were going to run him in a novice at Gowran Park tomorrow but there is a six-year-old maiden hurdle at the rescheduled Cork meeting next week, so we've re-routed him to there," said the trainer. "He's obviously done very well for us on the Flat, particularly at the Curragh, and he has schooled very well. "I'm very happy with him at the moment and jumping is what he was originally bought to do, so we'll take it from here."
