Justicialism puts it all together in Sligo Justicialism ended his losing run in emphatic fashion in the SIS Handicap Hurdle over an extended two-miles-one-furlong at Sligo. It's more than four years since he tasted success in a handicap hurdle at Naas in February 2022, but he was in rude health today. The strong traveller raced past Boltlander after three out and Oran McGill was soon in command from his rivals who were scrubbed along. The 13/2 chance stretched clear on the run-in and was eased down close home in scoring by a snug four lengths over 4/1 favourite Phoenix Arizona. Georginas Jet (11/1) was a short head away in third, but was half a length in front of Steps In The Sand (13/2). Noel Kelly said: "He was a bit unlucky in his last couple of chases when he just hit fences at the wrong time but. back over hurdles, he's done it well. "Oran wanted to make it, but there were too many who wanted to lead, so he changed plans. I don't give my jockeys too many instructions because so much can change down at the start. "He travelled very well and I thought he had it at the bottom of the hill, but he has chucked it away a few times and is a bit of a thinker, so I didn't start shouting till late on!
