Keane doubles up aboard Magee's Rosie Frith On the mark earlier in the afternoon, Colin Keane registered a double when partnering the Patrick Magee trained Rosie Frith to win the Sheehy Motors Volkswagen Handicap at the Curragh. Sent off 11/2, the Kathmag Syndicate owned filly was always front rank before getting to the front over a furlong out. Keeping on strongly inside the final furlong, the three-year-old kept Genesis at bay to score by three-quarters-of-a-length. Colin Keane reported: "She's a solid little filly. Paddy has done a great job with her. She is very quick and proper quick ground is where you see the best of her. The last day she was out quick and the filly behind her missed it a little bit and she goes right and she came up and went right in front of her which interfered with her a little bit. When she gets out and gets it smooth and enjoys herself she's very effective."
