Keiths Delight (6/1) kept on best up the Downpatrick hill to take the last, the Win A Family Holiday Mares Flat Race, under Katie Walsh for Pat Fahy.

The five-year-old daughter of Saffron Walden ran four times before today with her best run coming at Wexford in October, where she finished just over eight lengths behind Cailin Annamh.

That run came on good, good to firm ground and back on a quick surface again today, she tracked the leaders for much of the race and was sixth at the halfway stage.

She made headway into third four furlongs out and hit the front on the outside on the entering the straight, keeping on well from there to score by two and quarter lengths. Lipinski was sent off the well-backed 6/4 favourite (opened 5/2 on-course) but she couldn't match the winner up the hill and had to settle for second under Johnny King for Dessie Hughes, while Xolani (10/1) finished twenty lengths back in third under Jason McKeown for Garry Caldwell.

Katie Walsh said afterwards: “She ran quite free the last day but she switched off today and that was the key, and she found plenty."
