Earlier successful on the Pat Fahy-trained You Make Me Smile, Kennedy neatly produced Birdie Time from mid-field to lead inside the final furlong, beating runner-up Ribee by 2.5 lengths. Harrington’s Green Impact filled sixth-place in yesterday’s English 2,000 Guineas and at Sligo, jockey Kennedy reported “Birdie Time really enjoyed that ground today - it’s just the easy side of good. “She took me everywhere into the race and made a nice move down the back straight.
