Kerry National winning jockey adds to haul Kerry National-winning jockey Danny Mullins bagged his second success of the week today, landing Listowel’s Guinness Listowel (Mares) Handicap Hurdle on the Sam Curling-trained Fire Coral (10/1). The seven-year-old mare made most of the running and held on well to score by 3.5 lengths from Jolly D’olivate, adding to jockey Mullins’ Wednesday heroics on National winner Ballygunner Castle . Afterwards Curling commented "we were hoping she'd run well but I was a bit worried when the rain came last night. She has been running well all year and Danny gave her a lovely ride today. "She is fairly straightforward, makes the running and goes along at her own gallop. She is very tough and tries hard. "She is still quite well handicapped on the Flat and is a great fun mare. "It was unfortunate for Philip (Enright), who had been riding her all year but couldn't today, although I have excellent riders to choose from."
