Kilbegnet preview Sizing Platinum bids to make it three from three over fences in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Kilbegnet Novice Chase at Roscommon on Monday. An impressive winner of a Clonmel bumper almost a year and a half ago, the seven-year-old endured a largely disappointing spell over hurdles. However, like many horses from Henry de Bromhead's yard, he appears to have raised his game significantly since tackling the larger obstacles, winning impressively at Limerick and Galway this summer. De Bromhead said: "He seems to be in good form and we've been very happy with him (over fences) so far. "Hopefully he seems to be progressing, so we'll see how he goes. "They should have some nice jumping ground at Roscommon, hopefully." Sizing Platinum faces just three rivals as he steps up to Grade Three level, with Gordon Elliott's The Game Changer a formidable opponent. The Gigginstown House Stud-owned gelding is three from five over the bigger obstacles, but did suffer defeat at Galway last time at this level. Highly-tried hurdler King Of The Picts makes his chasing debut for Pat Shanahan. Patrick Cronin's mare Give Her Bach completes the line-up.
