Jim Bolger has mapped out an ambitious plan for his Irish Derby winner Trading Leather.

The master of Coolcullen is planning to let Trading Leather tackle older rivals in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot on July 27 on his next start.

Bolger will then consider a trip to York for the Juddmonte International on August 21 followed by the Irish Champion Stakes on September 7 before a return to Ascot for the Qipco Champion Stakes on Champions Day.

"He's very well, is back to his racing weight very quickly and he's in very good form," Bolger said.

"The plan all along was to run in the Irish Derby, then the King George and then we'd have a look at the Juddmonte (International) and the two Champion Stakes."
