Kinger Rocks On Course For Galway Hurdle Thursday's Guinness Galway Hurdle sees 46 horses remaining in after forfeit which means that a maximum of 20 runners are likely to face the starter. The current ante-post favourite is Dermot Weld's Kinger Rocks, successful in a maiden hurdle at the meeting last year before winning at Punchestown in April, while other leading fancies include Reisk Superman and Emmpat. Recent Killarney winner, The Last Hurrah, looks set to represent trainer Jessica Harrington while Seamus O'Farrell's Proud To Be Irish will be trying to emulate the same stable's Perugino Diamond, who won this race six years ago. Trainer Paul Nolan was successful with Say Again in 2002 and Cloone River two years later and he has high hopes that the much improved Cuan Na Grai can continue his winning streak after completing a hat-trick of victories at Limerick earlier this month. There are eight races on both Wednesday and Thursday and the Tote Jackpot Pool is guaranteed for ?70,000 on both days.
