Kiss You Later mowed down her rivals in the closing stages of the fillies' maiden over 1m2f at the Curragh to win going away.

There were four horses battling for honours in the final furlong but Kiss You Later found her stride in behind them and surged to the front to lead close home.

Her momentum took the 8/1 shot a length and a half clear of Star Angel (13/2) with River Rain just a short head further back at 7/1.

Aidan O'Brien said: “She stayed well and it looks like a mile and a half may suit her.

“This weekend always works well for Ascot and she may go there next.

“High Definition ran a great race (second in the Group One Tattersalls Gold Cup) and it was obviously his best run. We were delighted with him and he won’t mind going up in distance.

“Tuesday ran a good race (runner-up in the Irish 1,000 Guineas) and came up against a very good filly on the day. I’d imagine if everything goes well she will head to Epsom.” Additional reporting by Alan Magee
