Nina Carberry will ride Knock House if he makes the cut for the Crabbie's Grand National at Aintree on Saturday.

Carberry knows the Tim Radford-owned seven-year-old well, having teamed up to win an amateur riders' handicap chase at Cheltenham in November.

The partnership was also in action at the Cheltenham Festival last month when the Mick Channon-trained Knock House finished fourth in the Kim Muir.

Henrietta Knight, who manages Radford's horses, told the Telegraph: "If he gets in Nina has been booked to ride.

"He was fourth in the Kim Muir but should have been second.

"He was brought to a standstill when a horse fell in front of him. He's not big but he's a neat jumper."
