LUZCADOU THYESTES BOUND Luzcadou has been given the go ahead to run in Thursday`s Cuisine de France Thyestes Handicap Chase at Gowran Park. Connections have decided to travel to Ireland rather then Ayr on Saturday where the eight-year-old had entries in both the Bagpipes Handicap Chase, a race he won last year, and the Tartan Handicap Hurdle. The gelding, a winner over hurdles just before Christmas, is the sole British-based entry for Thursday`s #42,250 three-mile contest. His English trainer Micky Hammond said today: 'We`re going to run him in Ireland. 'I discussed the situation with his owner Mr Chappell and he`s keen to have a go. 'There are only six in the handicap at the moment and he likes soft or heavy ground which he`s going to get. 'His regular jockey Brian Harding is going to ride him and I just hope he`s going to run a good race.' The weights for the Thyestes Chase are headed by last year`s winner Micko`s Dream while Foxchapel King, who is among the possibles for Saturday`s Pillar Property Chase at Cheltenham, is also entered.
