Lailani set for American move

Ed Dunlop`s Lailani is set to continue her racing career in America, it emerged today.

The daughter of Unfuwain has been a revelation this season, recording six successive victories, including Group One successes in the Kildangan Stud Irish Oaks and Vodafone Nassau Stakes on her last two starts.

A possible tilt at the Prix de l`Arc de Triomphe had been mooted for the Maktoum Al Maktoum filly but it now seems likely she will be prepared for a crack at the Breeders` Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Belmont Park on October 27th.

'The owner is keen to run in the Breeders` Cup so we are looking at the Flower Bowl Stakes at Belmont on September 29th as a prep race,' Dunlop told the Daily Mail.

'She will remain in the States after the Breeders` Cup to be covered by a stallion.'
