Land Me Safe takes the bumper under Gleeson Market rivals Land Me Safe (11/8 favourite) and Brave Lady (6/4) fought out the finish to Limerick's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Flat Race over two miles. Difficult to settle early on, the former moved into second two furlongs out and, despite conceding first run to the more experienced Brave Lady, wore her down inside the final furlong to score by three and three-quarter lengths.  The daughter of Footstepsinthesand, trained by Joseph O'Brien for Martin St Quinton, was making her debut at the age of five. Rider John Gleeson commented "It was a nice performance and she was a bit green early on, which we expected, but she learned as she went on. I thought she did it well in the end. "She was doing things nicely at home but we were coming here knowing that she would come on a lot from it. The penny only dropped in the last half-a-furlong and she is one to look forward to.  "We're involved in this horse with the St Quintons from England, who are longstanding friends of ours through racing."
