Lane gets Two Days at Gowran THE THOMASTOWN HANDICAP The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involing Roisins Prince, ridden by Pat Smullen, Fast Lighting, ridden by Wayne Lordan,I See You Baby, ridden by Billy Lee, Rare Diamond ridden by Martin Harley and Damasque, ridden by Martin Lane, winner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Martin Lane had ridden carelessly and they therefore suspended him for two race days.
