Lanwades target for Titania at the Curragh John Oxx has identified the Lanwades Stud Stakes at the Curragh next month as a likely seasonal starting point for exciting filly My Titania. The daughter of Sea The Stars was considered a serious Classic contender at the beginning of last season, having won two of her three starts as a juvenile, but endured an interrupted campaign. She was far from disgraced in finishing fourth on her belated return in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, but suffered another setback when finishing a close third in the Kilboy Estate Stakes last July and has not been seen since. "She didn't really have a season last year. She had a knee chip on her next run after the Coronation Stakes at Ascot," Oxx told At The Races. "Hopefully she'll have a clear season this year and we'll see what she can do, but we're happy with him and she's done well over the winter. "The Lanwades Stud Stakes at the (Irish) Guineas meeting, a four-year-old Group race for fillies over a mile, that will be the starting point. "We'll see whether she will measure up then for the Pretty Polly Stakes later on. "She's just started fast work this week and all's going well so far."
