Lashes and Mark among nine Windsor Forest entries Lush Lashes, whose three Group 1 victories last season included the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, is set to return to the track next Wednesday where she would face a maximum of eight rivals including the Pat Flynn-trained She's Our Mark in the Windsor Forest Stakes. Jim Bolger's filly went on to land the Yorkshire Oaks and the Matron Stakes at the highest level, and is sure to take some beating in this Group 2 event having found soft ground against her on her seasonal reappearance in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh last month. She's Our Mark may appreciate some rain as she handled testing ground well when landing the Listed Victor McCalmont Memorial Stakes at Gowran Park last month and was runner-up to Deauville Vision gain in a Listed race at the Curragh last Saturday. Spacious, runner-up to Natagora in last season's 1,000 Guineas, has four and a half lengths to make up on Lush Lashes having filled fourth spot here last year in the 'Coronation'. James Fanshawe's filly is owned by Cheveley Park Stud, as is Sir Michael Stoute's possible representative, Heaven Sent, who was second to Sabana Perdida last year. Andre Fabre adds overseas interest with Proviso while Mick Channon's Eva's Request, a good winner at Epsom on Derby day, and Brian Meehan's Pontefract winner Rosaleen are other possibles. Chantilly Tiffany and Royal Confidence complete the list.
