Dermot Weld was crowned King of Ballybrit yesterday having won the Chanelle Veterinary Ltd sponsored Leading Trainer award for the 20th time.

He finished the week with 57 points having had 7wins 7 seconds and 1 third during the 7 day festival meeting and was presented with a cheque for ? 3800.00

Runner up was Willie Mullins with 27 points from 4 wins 2 seconds and 1 third and he received a cheque for ? 1200.00
