Clonmel chase races reallocated to Listowel, Punchestown & Roscommon Following the cancellation of the three steeplechase races from Clonmel’s Friday June 5 meeting due to current ground conditions and a prolonged period of mainly dry and warm weather, Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) has announced the following changes to a number of race meetings. Clonmel, Friday June 5 - two hurdle races will be added to the programme to form a six-race hurdle card. The three cancelled steeplechase races from the Clonmel programme will now be rescheduled as follows: Listowel, Monday June 1 — 2m 3f Beginners Steeplechase for horses rated 100 or less over hurdles added to programme (2m Colts & Geldings Maiden Hurdle transferred to Clonmel on June 5). Punchestown, Saturday June 6 — 3m & 157yds Beginners Steeplechase added to programme (2m 7f & 180yds 0-100 Handicap Hurdle transferred to Clonmel on June 5). Roscommon, Monday June 8 — 2m 5f & 150yds 0-100 Handicap Steeplechase (For Qualified Riders) added to programme to form an eight-race card.
