Lee Takes A Break

Graham Lee will take a short holiday in Portugal to complete his recovery after being laid low by a virus.

He returned with two rides at Perth on Wednesday after nine days off but gave up his five booked rides at the track on Thursday..

'He came back with two rides after having a week off with a virus but he wasn't happy, so he's decided to take more time off,' said his agent Richard Hale.

'It's left him about half a stone below his normal weight so he's off to Portugal for a few days to recharge his batteries.'

Lee is third in the jockeys championship with 108 winners.
