Rubies From Burma (13/8f) slayed her rivals with a power-packed performance in the Follow Us On Social Media Maiden in Cork for Henry de Bromhead.

Billy Lee 's mount dictated and was clearly going best outside the final couple of furlongs.

She readily asserted passing that marker and was clear over a furlong from home. She moved further clear to sail in by six and a-half lengths from Black Storm (9/1). Silent Guardian (11/4) was a head back in third.

Lee, who secured a double, said: "She is a nicely-bred filly and is a fine, strong girl with a big stride on her. I rode her for the first time at Leopardstown and I thought she would improve a nice bit from there.

"I was keen to let her use her stride, but not go too quick and wanted to make the running or sit handy. She was a little keen, but will learn that in time and her ability got her through and she won nicely. That trip was nice and the ground was lovely for her.

"Hopefully if she finds another notch of improve, they could be chasing black-type."

Lee was also victorious on Rebel Diamond (2/9f) in the opener.
