Leicester On Racing at Leicester goes ahead this afternoon after the track passed a morning inspection. Officials had been concerned about the threat of overnight frost but clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson reported: "We've passed the inspection. We dropped to just below freezing but there's nothing in the ground." The going on the hurdle track is heavy, with the chase course good to soft, good in places, heavy on the Flat course crossings. The first race is scheduled for 1.40pm.
