Leicester to inspect for Wednesday Officials at Leicester have called a precautionary inspection ahead of their all-chase meeting on Wednesday. Clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson will check conditions at 7.45am as he is concerned by the forecast for overnight rain. He said: "We're perfectly raceable at the moment. We had seven millimetres of rain last night and there is more to come this morning, although the wind is set to stay around so we should take that OK. "There is quite a bit more rain forecast for tonight though and it's persistent rain so that would be a worry. "We will have a look in the morning and see where we are then."
