Following an assessment of conditions at Leopardstown this morning, racing will proceed as planned today.

The going is now soft on both the hurdle and chase courses at the south Co. Dublin venue following 14mm of rain overnight, and the weather forecast is for further showers this morning with winds expected to ease after 10am.

Some public areas will be restricted until the winds ease.

The seven-race card all sponsored by Paddy Power gets underway at 12.20pm, with two Grade 1 events - the Dial-A-Bet Chase and the Future Champions Novice Hurdle - plus the €190,000 Paddy Power Chase.

Meanwhile at Limerick the going is heavy on the hurdle course, and heavy (soft to heavy in places) on the chase course following a further 5mm of rain overnight.

The Tim Duggan Memorial Handicap Chase is the highlight on a seven-race card beginning at 12.30.
