Leopardstown & Limerick to inspect Monday afternoon's meetings at Leopardstown and Limerick will have to pass precautionary inspections if they are to get the go-ahead. An 8am check has been called for Leopardstown, which is due to feature the latest clash between Hurricane Fly and Jezki in the Ryanair Hurdle, the climax of the four-day Christmas meeting. The track tweeted: "Due to the forecast of frost overnight, there will be an 8am precautionary inspection. We are very optimistic that racing will go ahead." Officials at Limerick will also be taking a look at 8am on raceday morning. The track raced on Sunday and while the course is fit for action, the concern is again the threat of overnight frost. The Grade Three Cliona's Foundation Novice Hurdle is due to be the feature event on the seven-race card. Precautionary inspections on raceday morning have also been called for the British meetings at Newbury, Kelso and Southwell.
